She is 65 by 65 stitches and stitched on the suggested cloth measures 5” x 5”. You can finish her as a small wall hanging using a fun coordinating fabric, as part of a block or save up the entire collection and make a little book!

Traditional Groundcloth is a 100% cotton, 26 count (13 sts to the inch over two threads) fabric and is a modern reproduction of the traditional handwoven fabric that is most common to Greek folk embroidery. Imported by Krista West of Avlea Folk Embroidery it has a lovely, soft hand, which is very satisfying to work with. Any neutral colored evenweave or linen fabric would work for the whole Animal Alphabet Series but I hope you will give Traditional Groundcloth a try!
